Given the option for doubles, the lack of distinct activity rules, and flexible game speed, mandatory drops will be few and far between. But if you know you're too busy/unmotivated to continue, please do let us know here.

If on the other hand you need a short or extended break, due to vacation, work or school projects, or other obligations, you can report it here (with some estimate of the time frame if you know) and tag again when you return. This way we can keep a fair headcount of the current players.

The one thing to keep in mind for drops or hiatuses exceeding a two-month period, is muses do not truly leave the game. Given the inner mechanics, all souls captured in Asphodel are caught for good. Instead, any dropped or long untouched muse will revert back to a full "NPC" state, and go about their daily lives as if they never became self-aware, never acknowledging any changes that might have occurred during actual game play. While this rule might be mandatory, it comes with the compensation of being able to return to the game where you left off. If your muse found any pieces during his or her first round, they'll only have three at most upon "reawakening" and have to regather any others, but it's a good step above starting from scratch.
