I personally have no problems with the use of brackets! The prose idea is really more in the content of the post than the presentation, so bracket-use in itself shouldn't be a problem.

It's more a preference point, but I wouldn't want to make any player struggle to post because of it. That just ruins the fun.

Do you mean mean that it's more of the focus on body language and introspection, and less on how it's actually put in the text box?

That's a good way to put it! Just that extra focus to the non-dialogue portion.

--as an aside, and not to piggy-back on another thread, but I've been reading the first one on this post about CR and pieces and such, and I noticed the last set of questions were unanswered? I just want to say I echo the same sort of questions. :B

Not a problem!

The quick answer is the pieces cover all of the character's memories from life - anything they would have known upon their death. If they died aware of events in another game, then those would be included.

Oh, and if the character died with amnesia of certain events, I would leave it to the player's discretion, whether they would be recollected or not.

Their life experience was all one item, and not segregated into "Canon" and "Game CR", if I read that right. That makes sense to me!
